Bio

Roman Baker a.k.a. Zen Liom, has a rare foundation of music for his age. Growing up in the BBoy Culture, he was always surrounded by Break beats,Funk, Disco, Soul and Hip hop classics.

Among the years his love for (Old school)RnB and Swingbeat expended and became a passion as he grew older. At the age of eighteen he started to explore music by mixing it at home and recording mixtapes. After a year he did his first gig and the rest is history.

After his first gig, more and more people started to recognize his style of mixing and as an upcoming DJ he rocked several local bars/venues in the south of The Netherlands like Zathura in Brunssum, The Nox in Maastricht, Nieuwe Nor in Heerlen. He also expended his gigs in the area of Amsterdam and rocked a party called ‘BUM RUSH’ in Hoofddorp & ‘The Legend of the Golden Era’ at Suzy Wong, The American Blue Cup Part tat Club Prime, ‘BUM RUSH’ in Hoofddorp, Sneakerness Westergasfabriek and ‘MONDAY’ in the world famous ‘Supperclub’ in Amsterdam. He also expended his gigs international and rocked clubs like, Club Versuz(Belgium), Eikon, Hypnotized, Jenja & Sky Garden(Bali, Indonesia).

In 2010 he started making his own events called “In Effect Old To The New Hiphop & RnB”, and started rocking these In Effect party’s in Heerlen monthly. In 2011 he also played and organized the After party of world’s biggest BBoy/Dance event, “The Notorious IBE”. In 2013 he organized his first ‘’In Effect’’ party in Bali, Indonesia.
